As a production designer and freelance artist, I desire to bring visual life to paper, canvas, digital mediums, film and television sets, and theater sets. I believe through tremendous storytelling and beautifully crafted production design, I can be a part of a team that delivers magic to the audience, and if only for a time, draws them in and makes the world around them disappear.

Having a BFA in Drawing and Painting from the University of Cincinnati and a MFA in Production Design for film and television from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco has helped shaped me on a professional level. Those experiences paired with over 20 years experience as a freelance artist have given me a deep creative foundation that has prepared me to work in the film and television industries.

I am ambitious, driven and professional. I also understand what it means to work closely with a team. You will find I am a quick learner, great multi-tasker, and always willing to further educate myself to adapt to various job positions and industry changes.

Please contact me to discuss how I can be of help to you and/or your team. I look forward to working with you!

Sincerely,

Amanda Mercurio
